Riding Back to Vermont

Between Montreal and Chambly, we managed to get slightly lost again – too many bike paths – but it wasn't long before we were once again riding beside the canal toward St. Jean-sur-Richelieu. The weather, as you can see, got much better.

We reached St. Jean-sur-Richelieu in plenty of time to find a B&B we had already booked, a few miles out of town. It was a delightful place, much nicer than Auberge Harris, and we regret not having pictures. The next morning, the weather stayed perfect, and we were back in Vermont in time for lunch.

Here's Barbara very near the end of our ride, at the Vermont Visitors Center in Alburg. She loves having her picture taken.
